Service Terms

The Service Terms are found on our Repair Order, which are agreed to upon signing. All Service Terms must be agreed to, in writing, prior to C.A.S. Power Marine Ltd. commencing service work on the watercraft or motor referenced in the Repair Order.

SERVICE TERMS:

By signing this estimate, I am confirming I am authorized to order the referenced work, including labour and parts, for the watercraft listed. I hereby authorize the estimate set forth herein and agree that to the extent permitted by law. 

I understand and agree that C.A.S. Power Marine Ltd. (the Marina), the owners and/or any employees of C.A.S. Power Marine Ltd. are not responsible for any loss or damage, regardless of cause, to my property while stored on their property or other storage facilities. Further, the Marina is not responsible for loss or damage to watercraft or articles left in the watercraft in case any other causes beyond your control or delays caused by unavailability of parts or relates to parts shipments by the supplier or transporter. 

I hereby grant the Marina. and its employee’s permission to operate the watercraft herein described for the purpose of testing, inspection and/or delivery of the watercraft. 

I agree to pay regular retail prices in cash or upon credit terms acceptable to the Marina upon completion of the work described. If I fail to pay for the completed work, I understand the Marina will have a lien upon the described watercraft in respect of the material supplied and services rendered under the work order for the full amount charged therefor. I further acknowledge that the said lien shall continue in force at all times, whether the watercraft is in my possession or the possession of the dealer, until the account is paid in full. I understand and acknowledge that the dealer may register a claim for lien against the watercraft. I further understand and acknowledge that a registered claim for lien creates an interest in the watercraft in favour of the dealer and in the event of non-payment of the account in full, the dealer may direct the sheriff to seize the watercraft and the dealer may sell the watercraft to satisfy any unpaid portion of the account. If collection by suit or any other method is required, I agree to pay: (1) interest at the rate of 18% per annum (but in no event more than the maximum rate permitted by law) on the amount due until paid, (2) all collection cost incurred, and (3) any attorney’s fees incurred in the collection process. 

I understand that C.A.S. Power Marine Ltd.'s Warranty Policy requires the vessel and/or motor be returned to the Marina's facility for repairs; alternately, written pre-authorization from the Marina's Management if the repairs are to be completed by another service centre. The Warranty Policy is also such that this policy will only apply if it is determined by C.A.S. Power Marine Ltd., that the Marina is at fault. Rental and travel expenses are not covered under the Marina's Warranty Policy.

C.A.S. POWER MARINE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE PARTS FOR THOSE CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. 

STORAGE CHARGES WILL BE ADDED ON ALL ITEMS NOT PICKED UP WITHIN 7 DAYS AFTER NOTIFICATION OF COMPLETION OF SERVICE. A $25 CHARGE APPLIES FOR MISSED PICK-UP APPOINTMENTS
