DF150ATLW - White, Electric, 20" Shaft Length, Remote Steering, Power Tilt and trim.

Powerful And Quick. Clean And Efficient, A 4-stroke For All Purposes.

Key Features
  • Fuel Efficient: With a combination of our Lean Burn technology, a semi-direct intake system and a high performance compression ratio of 10.2-to-1, these new outboards deliver clean, efficient power. Compared to the current 175 and 150, the DF175A is 14% more fuel efficient and the DF150A shows a 7% improvement for significant savings at the fuel dock.
  • Powerful: With more torque (3.1% more for the DF150A and 2.7% more for the DF175A), as well as Suzuki's proven offset driveshaft layout with 2-stage gear reduction, these new outboards generate more power throughout the full rpm range. Even on heavier, fully loaded boats, the DF150A and 175A take performance to the next level.
  • Quick Accelleration: The DF150A and DF175A now share the same engine block used for our popular DF200A. More displacement and improved mechanical design combine for quicker acceleration, whether out of the hole or in mid-range. We're satisfying our customers' desire for performance and improved fuel economy.
  • Reliable: These new outboards take full advantage of Suzuki's proven Ultimate 4-stroke technology to provide season after season of reliable performance. A knock sensor keeps the engine running smoothly for improved durability. An O2 sensor improves engine efficiency and Suzuki's water detecting system helps protect the engine from the effects of bad gas, which include poor combustion, lower power output and corrosion.
  • Offset Driveshaft
  • 2-stage Gear Reduction: The engine powerhead is offset closer to the transom, moving the outboard's center of gravity forward. This rresults in less vibration, a more compact engine, and Stable steering performance
  • Multi-stage Induction System: Intake manifold pipes are switched between short and long ones during low speed and high speed operation to ensure the right volume of air entering the engine. This increases output during high speed operation with greater volume of air input, and increases combustion efficiency and maximizes torque by increasing the density in the air intake during low speed operation.
  • VVT (Variable Valve Timing): The Variable Valve Timing is used to control the open and close timing on the intake valve depending on the engine operation, this Offers smooth, powerful torque, and provides tremendous acceleration during operation at all speed ranges.
  • Semi-Direct Air Intake System: This system brings cooler air directly into the multi- stage intake manifold, making it possible for the engine to operate more efficiently, providing Greater acceleration and top-end speed.
  • O2 Sensor Feedback Control System: This system provides accurate, real-time information Delete the ECU uses to manage the fuel/ air ratio as operating conditions change, wich enables emissions to be clean and stable, and helps maintain optimum engine operating efficiency across the engine's full operating range.
  • Lean Burn: The Lean Burn Control System supplies the right fuel and air mixture depending on the navigation conditions, resulting in a significant improvement in fuel economy in all speed ranges especially at cruising speed. Fuel use and expense are reduced thanks to improved fuel economy.
  • Suzuki Anti-corrosion System: Special protection is applied to the aluminum surface using high strength bonding to protect the aluminum made exterior parts. This helps increase the overall engine durability.
  • Suzuki Water Detecting System: Designed to help protect the engine from moisture in the fuel utilizing a water detecting fuel filter to alert the operator with both visual and audio warnings when water is present in the fuel. it protects engine from poor combustion, lower power output, and corrosion.
Technologies
  • Offset Driveshaft: Pioneered by Suzuki, the use of the offset drive shaft on four-stroke outboards has long been utilized to reduce the size of the outboard. Found on all Suzuki four-strokes from the DF70A and up, this design positions the crankshaft in front of the drive shaft simultaneously moving the outboard's center of gravity forward. While the design contributes greatly to the outboard's overall compactness and increased power performance, it also moves the engine's axis of inertia, the point where engine vibrations are at a minimum, up over the upper engine mount, thus greatly reducing vibration. These outboards also incorporate two-stage gear reduction designed to take maximum advantage of the power produced by these high-performance engines. Providing a final drive ratio of 2.50:1—the largest you can find in either of these outboard classes—it delivers powerful torque for quick acceleration and great top-end speed.
  • 2-Stage Gear Reduction: This system which incorporates the Offset Driveshaft features a first stage reduction between the crankshaft and driveshaft, and a second stage reduction inside the gear case. This design makes a larger gear ratio possible, allowing it to turn a large diameter propeller. Advantage: High propulsive efficiency with large diameter propeller, Powerful navigation, maintaining propeller rotation even with a larger load and increased power to turn large diameter propellers, offering quick acceleration.
  • Multi-stage Induction: Getting the right amount of air into the cylinder has a great impact on performance. High-speed operation typically requires a greater volume of air, low-speed less. Suzuki's Multi-Stage Induction system meets these needs by utilizing two intake manifold pipes per cylinder to ensure the engine gets the right amount of air. At low rpm, air enters the combustion chamber through a longer, curved manifold pipe designed to improve combustion and improve low-end torque. As rpm increases, the valves open on the direct intake pipes. Shorter and lacking resistance, these pipes allow a greater volume of air into the chamber, increasing the engine's ability to breathe efficiently at high rpm resulting in higher power output during high-speed operation.
  • Lean Burn: Suzuki's innovative Lean Burn Control System was first introduced on the DF90A/80A/70A to great acclaim from boaters and the media alike. It predicts fuel needs according to operating conditions allowing the engine to run on a more efficient fuel mixture through the use of a lean air-fuel ratio. It delivers its benefits over a wide operating range, providing significant improvements in fuel economy from low-speed operation into the cruising range. Combining this system with the Suzuki Precision Control electronic throttle and shift system allows the operator precise control over engine RPM for improved fuel economy over a wider operating range. This combination also delivers smooth power transitions throughout the entire RPM range. In-house testing shows that while cruising, the DF300AP is 14% more economical than the original non-Lean Burn DF300 without sacrificing any power of the original DF300.
  • Self-Adjusting Timing Chain: Suzuki's self-adjusting timing chain is featured on the DF60A which is the first outboard in the 44.1kW (60PS) class equipped with this maintenance free feature. The chain is oil-bathed and features an automatic hydraulic tensioner that keeps the chain properly adjusted at all times for maintenance free operation.
  • Anti-Corrosion Finish: To guard against corrosion, Suzuki protects its outboards with its own specially formulated Suzuki Anti-Corrosion Finish. Applied directly to the outboard's aluminum alloy, this finish provides maximum bonding of the finish to the aluminum surface. Layering an epoxy primer undercoat, black metallic (or white) finish, and clear acrylic fiber finish on top of this forms an effective treatment against corrosion, protecting those parts of the outboard's aluminum alloy that are constantly exposed to saltwater.
  • Water Detecting System: Water in the fuel can lead to problems that include poor combustion, lower power output, and corrosion. The Suzuki Water Detecting System is designed to help protect the engine from moisture in the fuel utilizing a water detecting fuel filter to alert the operator with both visual and audio warnings when water is present in the fuel. The filter is also designed to let you check for water visually.
  • Quiet Operation: Suzuki four-stroke outboards have long been noted for their exceptionally quiet operation. Suzuki engineers go to great lengths incorporating methods designed to keep outboard operation as quiet as possible.
  • Tilt Limit System: A tilt limit system that prevents the outboard from tilting beyond a certain angle.
  • Troll Mode System: The Suzuki Troll Mode System is optionally available on all three outboards, this system provides finer control over engine speeds at low rpms keeping the boat moving at a steady speed while trolling. When the system is engaged, engine speed is controlles with an independent control switch that adjusts engine revs in 50 rpm increments over a range that spans from idle to 1200 rpms. In addition to the control switch, wich can be mounted nearly anywhere in the console, the system includes a tachometer and s compatible with Suzuki's SMIS digital gauges ot the dual scale analog gauges.
